50 Rock Softball
The 50 Rock Softball League will be starting this April! All the details can be found in the Sports section of the new Playbook. See page 68.
Hiking
Forest Park Nature Center, Camp Wokanda, Glen Oak Park and Sommer Park are all beautiful destination sites for hiking and walking. There is also more information in the Playbook and online about hiking trails throughout the District! Need a hiking/walking partner or want to form a group? Contact Gloria Phelps.
Senior Games and Fine Arts Festival
You don’t need to be a “senior” to enjoy the Senior Games and Fine Arts Festival held at the Riverplex May 24-27. If you are a 50+ adult, you can compete with your own age group in sports or arts, music or dance, play with everyone and enjoy some wonderful games and food. Get on the mailing list and don’t miss it! Details on page 80 and at www.hoiseniorgames.org.
50 Rock Rocks Wokanda 2012
50 Rock will Rock Wokanda again on October 13, 2012! Save the date for fun and adventure in one of Peoria’s most beautiful parks. If you loved it in 2011, make sure to spread the word to your friends. The 50 Rock Rocks Wokanda program will be even bigger and better in 2012!
