Family Flicks
The entire family can enjoy full-length, family films Monday evenings, June 9-Aug 4 on our outdoor screen.  These movies begin at dusk and the cost is only 25 cents a person. Concessions are available.

June 9:

Shrek

The greatest fairy tale never told! An ogre, in order to regain his swamp, travels along with an annoying donkey in order to bring a princess to a scheming lord, wishing himself King.
Rated PG for mild language and some crude humor.
     

June 16:

Are We Done Yet?

New house. New family. What could possibly go wrong? Newlyweds Nick and Suzanne decide to move to the suburbs to provide a better life for their two kids. But their idea of a dream home is disturbed by a contractor  with a bizarre approach to business.

Happily Never After

Don't let your hair down. Don't go to the ball. Don't visit Grandma. An alliance of evil-doers, led by Frieda, looks to take over Fairy Tale Land. Shrek the 3rd

Who's ready for Thirds? When his new father-in-law, King Harold falls ill, Shrek is looked at as the heir to the land of Far, Far Away. Not one to give up his beloved swamp, Shrek recruits his friends Donkey and Puss in Boots to install the rebellious Artie as the new king. Princess Fiona, however, rallies a band of royal girlfriends to fend off a coup d'etat by the jilted Prince Charming.

July 21:

The Bee Movie

Hold on to your honey! Barry B. Benson, a bee who has just graduated from college, is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry's life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans actually eat honey, and subsequently decides to sue us.
Rated PG for mild suggestive humor, and a brief depiction of smoking.
     

July 28:

Open Season

One fur all & all fur one! Boog, a domesticated 900lb. Grizzly bear finds himself stranded in the woods 3 days before Open Season. Forced to rely on Elliot, a fast-talking mule deer, the two form an unlikely friendship and must quickly rally other forest animals if they are to form a rag-tag army against the hunters.
Rated PG for some rude humor, mild action and brief language.
     

August 4:

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Let the magic begin - Rescued from the outrageous neglect of his aunt and uncle, a young boy with a great destiny proves his worth while attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Twilight Theatre
Here’s an idea for summer fun: Twilight Theatre! This flicks series is geared for adults, but suitable for many ages. See some great films outdoors on our big screen. Popcorn, candy, soda, nachos and other treats are available at our affordably-priced concession stand. Admission is just $1/person.

July 8:

  Patch Adams

Based on a true story. A  medical student in the 70's that treated patients using humor.
Rated PG-13 for some strong language and crude humor.
     

July 15:

  Big Fish

An adventure as big as life itself.  A story about a son trying to learn more about his dying father by reliving stories and myths his father told him about himself.
Rated PG-13 for a fight scene, some images of nudity and a suggestive reference.
     

July 22:

  Hairspray

Get ready for something big! Pleasantly plump teenager Tracy Turnblad teaches 1962 Baltimore a thing or two about integration after landing a spot on a local TV dance show.
Rated PG for language, some suggestive content and momentary teen smoking.
     

July 29:

  Transformers

Their war. Our world. A war re-erupts on Earth between two robotic clans, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons, leaving the fate of mankind hanging in the balance.
Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action violence, brief sexual humor, and language.
