Animal Encounters
12/18/11 1:30PM - 2:30PMAdults and kids alike will enjoy Animal Encounters--at the Nature Center on four Sundays: 11/6, 11/20, 12/4 and 12/18!
Feel the smooth scales of a snake slide thrugh your hand, hear the hiss of a giant cockroach, see a tarantula up close and personal. These short programs will give you a new respect for some critters who definitely don't fit into the cute, furry or cuddly mold, but are nonetheless some of nature's greatest creatures.
Sunday 11/6 & Sunday, 11/20 - Snakes
Sunday, 12/4 & Sunday, 12/18 - Turtles
All ages welcome. No fee, but donations are always appreciated.
