Featured musicians and storytellers for this year's event are:
Musicians -- Tom Kastle, Chris Vallillo, Curtis & Loretta
Tom Kastle has spent over two decades on the road and on the water as a singer, tall ship sailor, captain, songwriter and teller of tales--both personal and those steeped in long tradition. www.tomkastle.com
Chris Vallillo is a nationally-acclaimed singer/songwriter and folk musician who makes the people and places of "unmetropolitan" America come to life in song. Having spent the last 30 years in the rural Midwest, he has a natural affinity for American roots music. Performing on six-string and bottleneck slide guitars and harmonica, Vallillo weaves original, contemporary and traditional songs and narratives into a compelling and entertaining portrait of the history and lifestyles of the Midwest. Dirty Linen magazine described the music as, "vidid, original story songs" delivered with an "eye for detail and a sense of history," while Folk Wax magazine editor Arthr Wood said,"Vallillo's guitar playing flows like warm honey and is a true aural delight." www.ginridge.com
Curtis & Loretta's music comes straight from the heart. The husband and wife duo's extraordinary harmonies and proficiency on a parade of stringed instruments create an alluring frame for their poignant original songs and carefully chosen traditional pieces from the British Isles, America and beyond. The current instrument menagerie includes Celtic harp, mandocello, mandolin, guitars, clawhammer banjo and national steel ukelele, plus a bit of kazoo, harmonica and shakers. www.curtisandloretta.com

This combination of dynamic storytelling and powerful ballad singing has endeared him to audiences of all ages. www.dankeding.com
