Boy Scout Merit Badge Program
Camp Wokanda is excited to now be offering a Boy Scout merit badge program. Scouts may choose from backpacking, camping, canoeing, fishing, hiking, orienteering and wilderness survival. $10/Scout ($80 minimum)
Discover the Outdoors
Combine your next camping trip to Wokanda with one of our new one to two hour outdoor programs. Choose from nature hikes, canoeing, fishing, camping skills or our wilderness survival program.
Wildflower Walk/Forestry Demo
Welcome Spring by hiking alongside blooming woodland wildflowers and seeing nature through a forester's eyes on Thursday, 4/18, 9 am-1 pm, at Camp Wokanda, $4/person (Please pre-register)
Bareroot Bottom Dollar
Let's all get our tree planting on for Earth Week! This program is Thursday, 4/25, 9 am-1:30 pm at Camp Wokanda. The cost is just $3/student in exchange for three bareroot oak seedlings. Please call 579-2157 to pre-register!
Open Fishing
Enjoy the well stocked waters of Davis Lake, either from the shore or in a boat, on Saturday, 4/27, 8-11 a.m. Catch and release only. Boat rental: $5, Pole rental: $1
Camp Wokanda Ecological Restoration Workdays
Meet in the lower parking lot on Saturday 5/4, Thursday 6/13, Thursday, 7/25 or Saturday, 8/24, 9 am-12 pm if you can help out on these restoration workdays.

Banner Marsh Canoe Trip
We are heading down south for a day on the water--a canoe trip to the scenic Banner Marsh in Glasford, Ill. It's Saturday, 6/15, 8:30 am-3 pm, $15/person.

Emiquon Nature Preserve Canoe Trip
On Saturday, 8/3, we are heading down south yet again to paddle on “the jewel of the Illinois River.” Meet in the Glen Oak Amphitheatre parking lot at 8:00 am to get shuttled to Emiquon Preserve, Lewistown, Ill. This trip will also be guided by experienced paddlers. Bring your binoculars or a camera and extra water gear. Canoes, paddles, PFDs and lunch will be provided! Fee: $15/person
