    Woodland Theater The Great Works Begins Theater Troupe
    Hamlet – Sa: 6/11, 10:30 am, 2:30 pm; Su: 6/15, 12:30 pm
    Robin Hood – Sa: 8/16, 11:30 am & 3:30 pm – Su: 8/17, 11:30 am & 3:30 pm

    The Great Works Begins Theater Troupe is returning for its third year to perform Hamlet and Robin Hood. This theater troupe has a passion for their trade and love performing amongst the trees. Performances will be located off the lower parking lot entrance. There is no admission; however, donations are greatly appreciated.

    Creek Stompin’ – Su: 7/27, 2-4 pm – Fri. 8/15, 6-8 pm – Free

    Hike the creek to Camp Wokanda’s southern boundary. Expect to hike over obstacles and get your feet wet. Sturdy shoes, water and a snack are recommended.

    Camp Wokanda’s 2nd Annual “Bluegrass in the Valley”
    Fri: 9/19 – Open jam and home-cooked dinner – $10/family
    Sa: 9/20 – 10 am – Music begins – $15/person, $45 max/family

    Showcasing local Americana musical talents on two electrical stages, food vendors, nature art vendors and more. The 2nd annual “Bluegrass in the Valley” music festival is set for September 19-20!

    Pond Studies
    Th: 6/5 • 10-11:30 am • $6/child ($18 max/family) • Parents free
    Children will explore the world of aquatic life beneath the water’s surface. Great for families to continue summer learning while getting hands on at Camp Wokanda’s lively Davis Lake.

    Intermediate Canoeing at Camp Wokanda’s Davis Lake
    Th: 6/26 • 5:30-7:30 pm • $10/person

    Learn to deal with canoeing situations such as rolling a canoe, getting back into the canoe from the water, and getting water out of the canoe after tipping. Wear swimming suits and appropriate water clothes. Canoes, paddles, and life vests are included.

    Canoe Trip to Johnson Lake: Banner Marsh
    Su: 6/29 • 9:30 am-4 pm • $35/person

    Put your newly learned paddling skills to work on the open waters of Johnson Lake. Meet in the Glen Oak parking lot by the Amphitheatre at 9:30 am to get shuttled to Banner Marsh. The caravan will return to the parking lot at Glen Oak around 4:00 pm.

    Wild About Bugs!
    Sa: 7/26 • 10 am-12 pm • $6/person ($18 max/family)

    InkyFriends will present how to investigate insects atop our hill prairie. Hands-on activities will expand your knowledge of the intriguing world of insects. Dress appropriately for outdoor activity.

    Bubble Walk
    Th: 8/7 • 1-3 pm • $8/person

    Nature hike with a pop! We’ll mix a guided nature hike with bubble stations. Bubbles, art, nature and more bubbles! Park in lower lot, we will begin at Handicraft

    Canoe Trip: Overnight Paddle and Camp Out
    Sa: 8/9, 3 pm through Su: 8/10 at 3 pm • $60/person

    Night paddle at Banner Marsh, overnight camping, and a day paddle on Sunday! Bring your tent and camping gear, Camp Wokanda will provide camp sites, canoes, paddles, and life vests. Also includes dinner, breakfast, and Sunday’s lunch!
