All Fencing Classes are taught at Peoria Fencing Academy by Elsayed Emara. NEW! Olympic Sport of Fencing - Elsayed Emara If you’re bored with the same old sports and fitness routines or if you would like to learn a new sport, then fencing may be for you! The Olympic sport of Fencing is designed for kids and adults, men and women. Fencing is called the game of physical chess. It improves coordination, balance, reflexes, agility and strategy. Join professional fencing instructor Elsayed Emara, a certified member of the United States Fencing Coaches Association, to discover the benefits of fencing. The only thing you need to bring is the desire to learn and have fun -- no previous experience or equipment is necessary.

NEW! Olympic Sport of Fencing Summer Camp Are you looking to have fun on your summer break? Fencing is an Olympic sport, often called the game of physical chess. This is an introductory Fencing Camp for beginner and novice fencers between the ages of 8 and 14. Fencing will improve your coordination, balance and reflexes. Students are introduced to footwork, handwork and strategy formation. By the end of camp, students will be fencing and refereeing actual bouts. The only thing you need to bring is the desire to learn and have fun -- no previous experience or equipment is necessary. Play games that develop coordination, balance, speed, sportsmanship, along with blade work and footwork. Each weapon type will be introduced and proper fencing techniques will be taught.
