Cake Decorating For Beginners
In this beginner’s class you will improve your baking skills and learn recipes for great frosting. Sessions start 5/6 and 7/15..
Wedding Bows
Think of all the times you wished you could make a bow! Now is your chance to learn. This class will teach you how to make bows for pews, holiday decorations, corsages, craft projects and more. Instructor will hand out diagrams for future projects. A supply list will be provided on your receipt. Classes are on May 9 and June 18.
Baking with the B.O.S.S.
Students will learn how to make their own cookie dough from scratch, decorate sugar cookies, how to read recipes, sift dry ingredients and learn how to use tools needed for baking.
Viking Knit
Weave fine wire into a beautiful, intricate chair. This technique is perfect for making men’s jewelry too! Class on 5/25.
Basic Beading
This class will teach you all you need to know to create beautiful bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Sessions start 6/1 and 8/3.
Hooked on Crochet - Beginner
Learn basic crochet stitches such as chain, single crochet, and double crochet and leave with an in-depth knowledge of crochet terms and helpful hints. Class meets 6/15-7/20.
Knitting for All Levels
Learn basic knitting stitches such as knit and purl. Class runs 6/15-7/20.
Leather Wrapped Bracelet
Make your own bracelet just like those very expensive designer pieces, using a leather cord and beads. Class is 6/15.
Advanced Cake Decorating
If you enjoyed the first cake class, you’ll love this one, too. Class runs 6/17-7/8.
NEW! Leather Tablet Case
Make a custom leather case for your tablet. You will learn how to stamp/emboss leather, and how to dye and finish your project. You have a choice of a small tablet case (fits the Nook) or a large tablet case (fits the iPad).
NEW! Leather Wristbands and Coin Pouches
Make your own leather wristband and coin pouch. You will learn how to stamp/emboss leather, and how to dye and finish your project.
Hooked on Crochet (Intermediate)
Students should have a basic knowledge of crochet or have completed a basic crochet class. Knowledge of basic arithmetic will be helpful. Granny squares, crochet in a circle, and crocheting with beads will be taught. Class meets 7/27-8/31.
NEW! Leather Belt Making
You will learn how to stamp/emboss leather, and how to dye and finish your custom leather belt. You will size the belt to a custom fit; you will get a choice of either a nickel or brass finish buckle. Class is 7/27.
Intermediate Knitting
Students should have a basic knowledge of knitting or crocheting and have completed a beginning class. Class meets 7/27-8/31.
Bead Looming
Bead looming uses a small bead loom to weave a beaded bracelet. Many of us had these small looms as children and made Indian bracelets with seed beads. This is a very updated version using Czech glass beads and natural stone beads. Class on 8/17.
