Basic Beading
This class will teach ages 12+ all they need to know to create beautiful strung bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Pick from one of four dates: 1/9, 2/6, 3/4, or 4/3.
Woven Bracelets
Ages 12 and up will follow an easy design for creating a beautiful crystal and seed bead bracelet using off loom weaving techniques. Choose from one of three dates: 1/16, 2/20, or 3/20.
Socks, Socks, Socks
Keep your feet nice and toasty all winter long with these socks! Basic knitting skills needed but not required. For ages 9+. Session starts 1/26.
Bow Making
Think of all the times you wished you could make a bow! Now is your chance to learn. For ages 13 and up. Class runs on 1/28.
Be a Knifty Knitter
Using the round looms, students ages 9+ will make hats with brims; pom poms are optional. Scarves will be taught on the round loom and also on the rectangular loom. Session starts 1/29.
Hooked on Crochet - Beginner
Ages 9+ can learn basic crochet stitches such as chain, single crochet, and double crochet and leave with an in-depth knowledge of crochet terms and helpful hints. Session begins 1/30.
Knitting for All Levels
In days of old, knitting was for MEN only. During this course, both men and women ages 9 and up will learn basic knitting stitches such as knit and purl. Session begins 1/30.
Cake Decorating For Beginners
In this beginner’s class, participants ages 13+ will improve baking skills and learn recipes for great frosting. Learn to decorate your own cakes with borders, flowers, leaves, side drapes, roses, cartoon designs, and script writing. Session starts 2/1.
Wedding Flowers
Those ages 18+ can learn the techniques to actually arrange silk flowers for your special day. You will learn how to make nosegay, toss, clutch, and cascade bouquets plus boutonniere, corsages, halos, baskets, and pillows. Session starts 2/4.
Metal Work
Ages 12+ will be using copper or silver wire in various shapes and gauges to create a unique pendant or bracelet. Class runs 2/11.
Calligraphy 1
Master the art of Italic calligraphy, a beautifully crafted style of printing admired around the world. Ages 9 and up will learn basic brush strokes, lettering styles and will improve your everyday handwriting as well! Session begins 2/23.
Advanced Cake Decorating
If you enjoyed the first cake class, you’ll love this one, too. Ages 18+ can learn fancy flowers, fancy borders, string work, basket weave, fun theme cakes, and much more! Session starts 3/8.
Fascinating Enterlock
This knitting class for ages 9+ uses a basket weaving technique made by reversing direction and changing colors of yarn. The completion of an intermediate knitting class or a good knowledge of knitting is required. Session starts 3/9.
Mom & Me - American Girl Knit Sweaters
Girls ages 9+ can come and enjoy the thrill of creating a beautiful sweater for an 18 inch doll and learn the basics of knitting technique. Session starts 3/12.
Hooked on Crochet - Intermediate
Students ages 9+ should have a basic knowledge of crochet or have completed a basic crochet class. Knowledge of basic arithmetic will be helpful. Granny squares, crochet in a circle, and crocheting with beads will be taught. Session begins 3/13.
Intermediate Knitting
Students ages 9+ should have a basic knowledge of knitting or crocheting and have completed a beginning class. Knowledge of basic arithmetic will be helpful. Session begins 3/13.
NEW! Filigree Design
Ages 12+ can learn to use this special technique to wrap stones and create a truly stunning necklace or bracelet.Class runs 3/27.
