Great Expectations Show Chorus: Ages 12-18 Come join our award-winning troupe as we entertain throughout the Peoria area June through August. Applicants should come prepared to sing a song of their choice and bring their own sheet music. Wear comfortable clothing for dance movement. There is no fee to audition. There is a $15 registration for chorus members. Location: Kids Creative Arts Center
Community Children’s Theatre: Ages 8-18 Participants interested in auditioning for our summer musical, “Oklahoma” should prepare a song and bring their own sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. There is no fee to audition. Performance dates are July 10-13. For more details call 681-2861. There is a $10 fee for those cast in the show. As a paid member of this troupe, young actors will gain professional experience performing children’s theatre. Interested high schoolers should wear comfortable clothing for movement and improvisation exercises, prepare a song to sing and bring your sheet music. Applicants should also be prepared to give three references, excluding family members. Five actors will be hired to perform in this troupe. Location: Owens Center
This dance troupe performs throughout the year at private, civic and cultural events. Wear comfortable clothing; costumes are optional for this audition.
