Ice Skating Lessons
About Our Skating School
1. A $5 fee will be administered if you sign up the day of the start of the particpant’s first class and if you sign up for Saturday morning classes on Friday after 4 pm.
2. An administration fee of $5 will be charged to transfer classes and refunds.
3. Refunds will only be issued if there is a signed medical excuse or proof of a work transfer. The Owens Center will offer a credit balance for the classes remaining in the session good for one year from when the credit is requested.
4. There are NO TEACHER REQUESTS.
5. A minimum of 4 skaters is required for daytime classes to be conducted.
6. The Instructor to Participant Ratio is one instructor to 5-10 participants.
7. Particpants registering during the third week of classes or later will pay: $52.50 for Residents, $57.00 for Non-Residents.
8. No pro-rated classes during the Summer sessions.
9. If you miss a class, there are NO MAKE-UP CLASSES.
Clothing & Skates:
Warm, comfortable clothing with mittens/gloves and protective head gear or hats for young children is recommended. Adults additionally benefit from wrist guards and knee pads. Skate rental is included in the cost of your lessons. Skates should be your shoe size or one size larger. Wear one pair of thin socks.

Each class time/level must meet a class minimum in order to run.
Summer Skating Lessons
Pick a day and time for your lesson. You will meet once a week for 45 minutes for 8 weeks. Choose from either of these sessions:
| Skating Stars A special 3-level introductory series offered for ages 3-6. |
Super Skates A 10-level course for ages 7+ or younger skaters who have completed Skating Stars. |
Adult Levels A 10-level course for adults to learn with their peers. |

Fall Skating Lessons

4-Week Beginner Lessons for First Time Skaters Only!
Would you like to try skating but aren't ready to commit to our full 8-week classes? Then try our 4-week classes for beginners only. Classes are offered at all the regular times (see chart above) and are for all ages (3 years to adult). These beginners-only sessions run:
