What is a
Volunteer Coach?
Volunteer Coaches are those who wish to volunteer
their time helping coach the youth of Peoria in a variety of sports. The
time commitment depends on the specific sport, but usually consists of one
or two nights during the week and Saturdays for 1-2 hours. No previous
experience is needed but having some background in the specific sport will
certainly help. We will prepare and provide all coaches with the needed
information to effectively teach and coach.

The application is
designed to obtain as much information as possible about an applicant in
order to effectively place the volunteer in an assignment that best suits
the volunteer’s skill level and interest. All applicants are subject to
a background check and must pass before coaching.
