Our annual spring
plant sale offers new and hard-to-find perennials and native plants, ornamental
grasses, and unusual tropical plants and annuals. We have everything you need to
make your garden beautiful! Plan on topping off your vegetable garden with our
selection of heirloom tomatoes, peppers and other veggies too. While you’re
here, stop by and see our popular Tag Sale bargains in our Conservatory. Members
get a 10% discount! (Don’t worry, you can sign up Friday afternoon.) Catalog
available.
Orchid Show

FREE admission to moms and grandmothers
Come see our Conservatory’s
orchid collection, featuring exotic new acquisitions. We will have many
beautiful specimens on display, as well as experts on hand with information on
their care. Bring your special mom, sister, aunt, grandmother, or friend to our
Orchid Show this Mother’s Day.
Gigs in
the Garden Concert Series
First concert May 11
Second Sunday of the month, May-August
5-7 pm • $5/person (kids 12 and under are FREE) or $15/family
This concert series offers a great chance to bring the kids
and the grandparents out for a relaxed evening in the Garden! Bring a blanket
and a picnic dinner or settle in the chairs we'll provide and enjoy true quality
time with your family and friends. We have family-friendly blues, rock, folk and
even a little Celtic, guaranteed to get you dancing.

Sale. Come stock up on new annuals, perennials, veggies and herbs for your
garden (selection is limited). Ten finish off your day with our Gigs in the
Garden performance by BogSide Zukes!
NEW! Summer Fling
Saturday, 6/21 • 9-11 am
$6/person; $20/family
The Peoria Zoo and Luthy Botanical Garden are joining
together to give you a behind-the-scenes look at our facilities. You'll start at
the Garden, where you'll tour the Conservatory and see the new Rose Garden.
You'll then head over to the Zoo, where you'll learn how the staff takes care of
the animals, where the sea lions live, and even see what happens in a zoo

NEW! Summer Garden Walks
Tuesdays, 6/24, 7/29, 8/26 • 1-2

This fun and exciting outdoor tour will showcase some of the
great plants and trees in the collection. Enjoy the Garden in all its beauty and
maybe even get some ideas for your own garden. No need to register -- just come
to the Trellis Gift Shop, and we will start our tour from there. Donations are
appreciated!
Rhapsody
in Bloom Arts Festival

$3 admission; ages 12 and under FREE
Come to our sixth annual celebration of art, music, food and
bloom. Spend the weekend browsing more than 50 booths by regional artists and
listening to top entertainment groups in the area. We offer a diverse range of
culinary creations to get you through the day! Kids can enjoy art activities in
the Children's Garden. We are also excited to show off our newly designed Rose
Garden, which should be in full bloom by the festival. So come by with your
family and experience all the fun at Rhapsody!
Rhythm in the Rainforest
Saturday, 8/16 • 6:30-9 pm
$15 members/$20 non-members in advance; $25 day of the event
Join us for our 9th annual Rhythm in the Rainforest jazz
concert. They just keep getting hotter! Back by popular demand--Preston Jackson
& Friends will be performing some cool jazz while you munch on delicious
hors d'oeuvres in the redesigned Rose Garden. You won't want to miss the beauty
of a torch-lit garden under the stars. This is one of our most popular events, so
be sure to reserve your tickets early. Tickets are available at Luthy Botanical
Garden. Ages 21 and over only, please. Call 686-3362 for more information or to
purchase tickets over the phone.
