Learning To Play Guitar

SUMMER BANDS & ORCHESTRAS
Make some noise this summer and have fun learning to play your instrument.
Special Jazz guest artist Cecil Grubbs will be instructing and performing
with our students. All participants will perform at Brown-Bag-It on 7/11,
the Youth Jazz Festival on 7/17 and the Illinois State Fair on 8/16. A
performance t-shirt is included in the fee. For more information call (309)

Bands
Learn to play jazz, Dixieland, and swing under the direction of Peggy
Bonner. You will meet 3 days per week, 6/5-7/17, at indicated time–
Once per week with your section (Mon-Percussion; Tue-Woodwinds;
Wed-Brass)
and twice a week with the full band (Thu & Fri)

For students with no experience.

For all area high school students (those entering 9th grade included);
younger bandsmen accepted at discretion of band director. Join us for a
great schedule of performances including the Glen Oak Park Amphitheatre,
Brown-Bag-It, West Peoria 4th of July Parade, State Fair and more.
Rehearsals will be held at First Baptist Church on Lake St.
