HOCKEY 

Basic Hockey Classes

Hockey Skater

You must be 7 years of age or older OR have completed the three skill levels of Skating Stars. This is a special class to learn the basics necessary for hockey.  There are 3 levels.  Helmets are required.  Use of hockey skates is recommended, free hockey skate rental is provided. Sign up for:

Pre-Hockey

You must have completed the 3 skill levels of Hockey Skater OR have permission from the Hockey Coordinator. Learn the preliminary fundamentals of hockey while increasing your skating skills.  Full equipment is required.  An excellent class to take concurrently with a regular skating class. Sign up for:

Hockey/Private Lessons

Owens offers private lesson instruction for hockey players at all skill levels.  For details stop at the reception desk or call Zach Tortorella at 686-3353, ext.1906.

Developmental Hockey

Sessions available to practice hockey skills and/or to receive private instruction. Scheduled times are available at the rink or on our website (click here).

Adult No-Check Hockey League

Attention hockey players: are you still an enthusiast and looking for a way to play? Well, come join us and slap a puck around. No previous hockey experience required. Season begins Friday, June 27.
