Prairie School resource development is an ongoing endeavor. Recent additions include:

Version 2.2 Released
The latest version of Prairie School includes a new presentation to help you introduce your students to the various leaf arrangements, attachments, and shapes encountered in common prairie plants. Version 2.2 also includes fourteen new insect profiles and ideas for incorporating supplemental materials (the Summer Prairie Wildflowers of Illinois coloring poster, Brian Fox Ellis' Exploring Prairie Wildlife activity book, and the Newspaper in Education Illinois--The Prairie State...Reclaiming Our Legacy tab) with various Prairie School activities. See the Recommended Resources page for details on obtaining these supplemental materials.
If you've already attended a Prairie School workshop, contact Dean Johnston for information on obtaining version 2.2 materials.
