Be
a part of the Zoo Team. Help the Peoria Zoo meet the needs of our visitors and animals by helping Zoo staff in
animal care, diet cutting, visitor services, maintenance, behavior enrichment
and education. Become
an expert on the Peoria Zoo animals by becoming a docent. Learn about the
animals, their life histories and their care. Then
take that knowledge and share it with visitors around the Zoo. Docents
are greatly needed to assist the Education Department in guided tours, birthday
parties, behind-the-scenes tours and zoomobiles. Docents
are also needed to work in the petting zoo and the Aquatic Conservation Center.
Adopt an Animal Help us feed the animals! Companies, schools and individuals who love animals can help us care for our animals through our adoption program. From Fennec Foxes, Macaws and Emus to Meerkats,
Tigers and Spider Monkeys, the animals at the Peoria Zoo would love your
personal support. A Zoo Adoption is also a great gift idea for the animal lover
in your life!

Zoo Memberships There isn’t a better way to spend a nice summer day than at the Zoo! By becoming a member you can visit the Zoo as many times as you want for one full year. In addition to unlimited visits for one year, you will receive a discount in the gift shop, free admissions to over 130 other zoos and aquariums nationwide, the Zoo Tales newsletter, and discounted tickets on certain special events.
