    Experience Peoria County in 1855 and participate in hands-on activities such as candle making, hayrides and children’s games. $3/person

    Hayrides & Hotdogs ♦ 5-7pm ♦ (Thursdays) October 5, 12, 19 & 26

    Have an old-fashioned good time, enjoying hotdogs for roasting, chips, baked beans, s’mores and drinks. Vegetarian fare is also available. A hayrack ride is included. Wear costumes!

    Fall Marshmallow Peep Diorama Contest

    Entry due by October 2

    Use pumpkin, ghost and cat Peeps to make a diorama of a famous occurrence or autumn/Halloween scene. Voting will be held each week at Hayrides & Hotdogs. Prizes will be awarded to one individual and one classroom.

    History comes to life as Civil War Soldiers prepare for their winter encampment. See what they eat, wear, and how they live in this time period.

    Christmas on the Ghost Front ♦ 10am-4pm ♦ December  9

    Come experience firsthand the daily life of rural Peorians in the mid 19th century! Activities may include hand dipping candles, blacksmithing, school lessons, woodworking, chores, pioneer cemetery tours, hayrides, and livestock care. $3/person
